They look very nice...

Here comes the But.....

The red shadows under the tassels are a give away...
re-mask the image and reduce the contrast of the mask a bit to allow for the shadows a bit...

I think I may have undershot Greg. I was trying to preserve some of the fine detail in the tassels.  I seemed to keep plugging them.  Is that balance possible in this image?  Should I try again?  Or are you just going to lose most or all of the detail in the tassels in this exercise?

You can have both...The remember that the mask can have shades of gray in it. 
Part of the trouble is we think mask we thing black and white...this is a shades of gray issue...
