Yeah . . . right!  So that prompts a question.  Why is the red off if I correctly used the BTN approach (an assumption, I know)?  Like I said . . . deceptively simple but does not necessarily deliver a correct result

It may have something to do with the highlight choice for the reference point, Your Alt-Click sample.  How big is your sample size in the Config area ?  If you are set to 3 X 3 pixels try the highlight again at 5X5 just to see if the sample is messing with you.

Example, if the sample size is 3X3 you get the average of 9 pixels.  If for some reason the majority of the pixels you chose are blue the correction might result in a yellow cast in the highlights.  5X5 giving you 25 pixels for the sample may even this out.
