I was trying some new things this afternoon and I thought I might as well try an image in wgCMYk.I used the k channel to shape the overall contrast,then slid the color channels right an equal amount like a saturation slider.Pulling down the cyan curve gave the sky color and made the clouds pop out.The whites in this image should be almost pure with no indication of cyan.GregM

Tried another one.Not perfect but it's only the third wg image I've done other than that wreath.GregM

Greg,
What a wonderful image...Try opening the shadows in the areas highlighted by the "HiLite Curve" Feature.  Look at the K channel grid and you will see the range of the shadows shown.

Try it but if you still don't like it that's cool too...Awesome image...really....

Thanks.I tried the hi-light curve,I see how it works ,now I have to learn to apply it.GregM

Went back to the wreath.This was done in two passes,first in max black with the hi light curve with two marks,then the snap below. Image can be improved a lot,but at least I had an idea what I was doing.GregM
