I have just received my copy of Photoshop cs3. I was wondering if you thought I should continue in elements forthe rest of the course so I dont have to be learning two hings at the same time. or would my familiarity with elements mean that I will be able to manage.

i also need to upgrade my curvemeister, I think I only have the one for elements.

Go ahead and install.  You can run Both.. I do...
Most of what you know about Elements is in PS.  You can finish the course in PSE but the masking and smart filters parts are easier in PS.

It would be good to try it out when you have help...
