OK,
Here is my 2nd try.
I had to do 2 passes here - 1 in Lab and the other in RGB to get totally neutral concrete.

Yes,but now you have the yellow of the boy's collar(read under ear) and the scrap of paper in the background.I cut it back a bit  in my image but still bothers me.This is tough image that looks simple.GregM
