Tough image,the foreground pixilates very easily.I opened a layer set to screen then did shadow,etc in RGB followed by sharpening.I used darken highlights in PSE to add some contast to upper sufaces of balls. I wanted detail to the pipe and the reflected images in the balls.The sharpening I used gave a Monty Pythonesque jump between the last row of balls and the water,it looks almost photoshopped!GregM

This image does drive people to distraction....It is a simple image with a few problems...It is very subjective...
It's all about the goals for the image...

BTW a very nice version of the image...

Very nice, I didn't even notice the pipe when I did mine. I'd better go look at it again.
