This the original version of a shot of Baltit Fort, on the Karakoram Highway between China and north Pakistan, taken last May.  I thought  it might make an interesting picture, but I've made several unsatisfactory (pre CM) attempts so far.  I will try my newly acquired CM101 skills on it shortly; but if anyone else feels like taking a swing they will be very welcome.

What perfectly delightful image....Thanks for letting me play...

I encourage everyone to take a swing at this image there is a lot of small issues that add up to a fairly complex correction...it pulls from many different areas of both PS and CM.  I will tell you that I used CM for 95% of my correction but you can go anywhere you want...Used a Highpass filter for sharpening.

Until I could fix up the sky,I'd make the picture about the fort on the hill.GregM
Second image is an idea for  an image complete with sky.

I thought the mountains had a lot more color that was able to be brought out by increasing the color contrast and making the yellows more important.  It also helped the haze in the middle of the image to pull that out more...

Your thoughts??

I thought you might....Try a mask for the foreground and see if you can save some of the sky...
