Class will open on The 6th of December
I want the beginners to know that the first week can be confusing, intimidating, and sometimes downright scary.  We will do the best we can to keep everyone up to speed but some of the experienced users will be putting some stuff out there that makes little sense at first.

Please...in the words of Douglas Adams...."DON'T PANIC!" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Adams

The first week is kind of free form and we allow everyone to see into the class.

After the first week we will "close the door" so to speak and get down to the curriculum written by Mike and myself.  The curriculum is as shown with some minor additions and hopefully tons of discussion.  The more discussion the better really....

Do not be afraid to ask questions.  Our goal is to add Curvemeister to your everyday work flow and make it one of the first tools you look for in image correction...we will do that by showing you how powerful and hopefully easy it is to use.  If we fail to answer your questions poke us in the side...We'll do whatever it takes....

We acknowledge that this class is occurring over the December holidays and that we will be taking some extra time over that week to make sure you have enough time to open your Christmas presents and savor the holidays.  Mike will be doing a "special" section on Holiday lights...During that time and we will try to keep the discussion lively.

Please post a short note in this topic about who you are so that other members of the class can get to know you a bit.

Thanks for choosing the Curvemeister plug in and for being willing to explore image correction on our forum.

Hi,
I'm Greg Groess, Photographer and friend of the Curvemeister.  I started in photography about 30 years ago doing small commercial work and I have moved into other areas, mostly wedding and portrait photography.  I fijnd the work more rewarding and the people more appreciative. Like you are today, I took the Curvemeister class about 6 years ago.  During that class and the second time I took it, I was asked to push myself into areas I had never explored in digital imaging.  I found the process frustrating as I tried to get better and rewarding as my understanding grew.

Today, I teach that class with input from Mike Russell mostly because I enjoy it and I can bring a photographers mindset to the process that Mike felt was lacking in previous versions of the class. We work together to make sure your questions are answered and that your images hopefully improve.

I will tell you that the more discussion in the forum the better your results will get.  If you start with a question together we'll find the answers and everyone in the class will benefit.  Please post images from the coursework often and please comment and question on others work.

Greg
