My new mantra:
"The mask should be dark for the areas to be protected"  ::)

My lemurs with a b channel mask and a saturation adjustment. Also increased eye colour by moving mask curve up a bit.

The Lemurs look good...you could even push it a bit further for color if you want...seems like the mask is doing the job...
