Hi Greg,
I used the K channel mask and then curved it with the Lightness channel of Lab. Not my proudest creation!
I think I need serious help from the master.

This one can get under your skin a bit...I'll try to find a better example to post later today...
Sometimes you fight this and sometimes it just falls into place...

Here is how I tackle this image...the trouble areas are the white boat in the foreground and the reflections on the water of the sky.  If you make the mask to hard the tree line is also suspect....
