Nice and cute picture and had to give it a try. Adjustments in CM Lab. Bit difficult to find grey point. I have chosen stone at bottom in the centre. Pictures reminds me of face I see in mirror:)

The trap has to do with real colors...for instance you would never see purple eyelashes on this beauty...what else should you never see in here...

Greg

There is quite a bit of unusual colour. the seed pods are magenta and a bit of the nose looks blue. Back to the drawing board.

This is my best attempt, not too satisfied yet. I made sure there was yellow in the grass, but I think the grass looks weird. Used stone for neutral, removed a lot of blue using rgb and lab

I agree the grass may be too yellow.
Try placing the mouse over the grass and looking at the A Channel curve in LAB. The "Color Worm" on the channel will show you where in the curve you need to adjust.  Set points above and below the area and see if you can adjust the grass without messing with the rest of the image.

The Curve highlighter is a tool we can cover in the class that helps you to see the areas you are working on.  See Shot1.  The areas highlighted are the ones between the two control points that are effected by any change to the curve.

Thanks for the tip, there's so much for me learn about the curvemeister interface! The Curve highlighter was very helpfull! Found out while doing this that my dual monitor setup on my work computer is having serious color difficulties, the picture is looking very different on each screen!

I'm looking forward to see the final corrected picture in this thread and reading the explanations!
