Give this image a test fly...

Sorry for the quality...it is cobbled together fast from two images...both from the same spot just a different exposure for the falls...

Goals:  Make the foreground look less green and keep the waterfall as neutral as possible...Blown out parts exempted...

7/26 forgot there was a middle step where I selected the waterfall and reduced brightness.GJM

I've had a go at this too...

I think that this is the first image that I've been able to correct with a single curve!

Before I opened CurveMeister I applied Apple RGB to the file (Edit > Apply Profile), before switching it into sRGB (Edit > Convert to Profile). I chose Apple RGB because I wanted a lighter, and more saturated image.

My Lab curves fixed everything - except for the greenery, which they wreaked (as you'll see if you apply the curve). To get around this I converted the file into Lab (in Photoshop), and used the Blend If sliders to bring back the original greens:

• Blend If: L > This Layer: 0 - 205/234


• Blend If: a > Underlying Layer: 112/115 - 255

I didn't do much else to the file - a Green channel luminosity blend, and a touch of sharpening, but I used a light touch.

Here's my attempt.  I just ran it through CM and set two neutrals, one on the rocks and one on the whitewater in the falls, in the RGB mode then through Focus Magic.

Very nice overall...try the very subtle correction in My posted ACV. 
If it helps great if not...try to reduce the magenta a bit and see if the overall color looks better.
