I find copying channels really hit-and-miss. I suppose that I always want the K channel :-. It's not a bad mask - I'm frustrated that I've got CS5 on my Mac, but only CS3 on Boot Camp, so I can't use Refine Edge on the areas of fine hair at the bottom of the dog (and I know it would do a great job). Still, a bit of work with a brush set to Overlay, and it looks pretty nice.

I used to have a dog that loved eating grass, so I thought that I'd feed this one the same diet  ;)

I like it,  Instead of the man from Mars you have the Dog from...outerspace...

The L mask should respond very similar to the K mask.  I have to make the same adjustments...Mike is fully aware of the K mask issues...
