Week 1: Examples 1,2,7, and 8

I have attached my curve files for these examples. The ones with clean in the title are versions where I tried to remove the jpg artifacts in the file, in addition to improving the contrast.

With examples 7 and 8, I probably could have moved the interior curves even further (sending the gray background on the left to black), but I felt that I should keep the background on the left lighter than the background on the right.

OK...I finally got a look at these...

You did a fine job with these simple corrections.  # 8 can be a bit tougher but you certainly got the concept down.
