BTW, I took your 6 pointed star (double triangle) diagram that showed the 6 colors.  I added notation from + a, +b, -a, -b 

Next I will do the same for the conversion table.

I think that would be helpful for newbies.

I found this neat color mixer tool--doesn't tell you about opposites, but does give you color numbers for almost any color or combination:

I'm not sure the chart shows the entire spectrum.  The colors on the right seem cut off--no true green or yellow.

Color Pickers use a color space and you might be getting clipped by the default space they use for the picker...
Each space has it's own Gamut...
