I adjusted this to where I think it looks okay.  Again, I prefer to go by how it looks.  I didn't see the point of using a mask on it.  I set a shadow, highlight and neutral point on it in CM, then used Photoshop's color balance to remove the excess yellow.

Yes, there is a slight blue cast to it, but I prefer that to the excess yellow cast.  This cast looks good to me. :)

Art,
Justification is half  the battle...

I would say you could make a bit of the blue go away but you are making the decision on that...I completely understand.  The Idea was to saturate the image without making he eyes go all neon.  It's about learning the masks and using channels you might not think about...
