I hope I did not overdo it.

Comparing colors...  I think I understand that there are measurements, but for me I do not know the utility.

Smart filters. You need to click the scroll to load them.  Unfortunately the pins are gone.

The SS1 level of this correction is pretty good but as you see from the saturation boost you need to work out the lighter concrete.  Try setting a hue clock in one of the brighter areas of the concrete and see if you can adjust the purple out for the brighter areas.

then try the saturation slider again...It should hold up pretty good except for the collar of the little boys shirt...

I started over from scratch  (good practice).  I did too many corrections.  I saw the blue concrete and the red knees and...

I did some channel blending also.

hmmm..You are really fighting this one...his green hair is a problem...Let me see what Help I can find on this for you....
Try this acv file first.  Then Take it back into LAB and saturate to 1.20

The smart filter aspect of this allows you to adjust the image but once you have the RGB correction you need you should flatten and open in LAB.  If you go to LAB from the Smart layer you lose the adjustment because you have re-opened it.

Yep, right.  I was trying too hard.  Perhaps this is bad also, but it took less time

Much better...a touch over saturated but certainly a much better image overall..
The concrete is much nicer...While it is not the most important thing in the image it should look real.

The posting does look too saturated.  :(  My notebook should be profiled.  IOW, it was the computers fault!
