Since it has been quiet.  Another fix.  I will attempt again later with Rgb.

First, Lab

I tried another color space.  HSB.  (Who said a tiger could not change the color of his stripes)

Well at least he's not plaid...

BTW, I almost told you that the green was too far but the last image saved it...solid work...Try as I might i could not get much more out of the image than you have ...
