Hello.

I decided to post this as a separate topic because the original Temple Bridge topic has so much information in it.

I re-did this image.  I still believe the foliage is slightly off; what do you think and how would you correct it.  To prevent the buildings, gate and most of the bridge (except white wires holding bridge) I created a selection and the saved it.  I then loaded is as an alpha mask and inverted it.  This prevented the yellow gate, white bridge and the white statue from changing in color.  I then adjusted the A and B curves and then the L curve.  Finally, I added some saturation.  What do you think of it and how would you improve it?

By the way, in a previous post I stated I could not find a mouse option for pin to a curve;  I found such a option under Quick Pin, Pin to Current.  I assume this pins a location on the image to the curves (the shortcut CTRl-Click matched).  For some reason, I like clicking on a position of the image and the selecting the specific option from the menu.

Thank you
David

The greens are a touch too yellow. IN GENERAL... Try to set them in the area between the Y and the bar between Green and Yellow.  If they get to close to yellow they look false as well.

Masking the bridge was interesting but the neutral made the bridge footing concrete look cyan.  Just be careful when you mask to not leave a color cast in the image.

Hello.

I am still working with this image.  For some reason this image is given me some difficulty.  I performed this correction in two passes both using the Lab color space.  In Pass 1, I set a highlight and a neutral to make the bridge whiter.  In Pass 2, I adjusted the foliage keeping the alpha mask for the bridge, statue, etc.  I paid close attention to the hue clocks, however, some foliage is on the yellow side and some are on the green side overall they are between the yellow and the green.  What do you think of it?

Thank you
David

I think it looks very much improved.
It does become a subjective process when you look for the "correct" green; overall I think you are getting the idea down...

What do you think needs improvement??
