Richard Week 6 Ex 6: Sun Moon Lake

I made selections on the two buildings and the two boats and used the B channel for the mask.

The first image uses the selections, the second image is from the previous lesson without the selections.

Which do you prefer??
They both look reasonable...

I have a favorite but I want to hear what you think first...

Except for the boat in the center of the image, I actually prefer the bottom image without the selection. The top image is slightly dark and the sky mask on the top right hand side isn't as well done as on the bottom image.

see..you are getting the information...good call.

That is exactly what I was thinking..I liked the top image for the boat; but the tonality of the bottom image makes it the better one overall.  You can go back into the top image an lighten it but then the mask issues will become more visible.
