I left the sky blank.  Could not do it without fake look. I added a luminosity layer where I applied green layer.  That lightened and added contrast.

Seems to be too magenta overall.

Steve, try to be a bit less heavy handed...it will help you overall...

I re did it with a more conventional two pass.  One rgb and one color bump with lab

Steve,
It is a bit green but easily fixed in the A channel of LAB.

Shot 1 is your posted image...Remember that while green is considered an earth tone it is not a good color for rocks...

Shot 2 is the correction in LAB from your posted image.  I also added some mid tone adjustment to the image...
