I am using CM 3.2.5. Do you know if there is a bug in the Pin to Grid? When I try to pin the upper right part of the curve, it brings the upper right part of the curve back to its starting point as illustrated in the attachment.

Hello.

You suggest that we download and install CM 3.3.4.  I just want  to confirm that there are no reported significant bugs in this version.  Also,  should I uninstall CM 3.2.5 prior to installing CM 3.3.4 or should I just install CM 3.3.4 over 3.2.5?  Also, will Smart Filters created with CM 2.3.5 continue to work with CM 3.3.4?

Thank you
David

Hi David...sorry you seem frustrated...

3.3.4 has a few minor bugs that Mike is working out..I'm using it on both 32 and 64 bit versions of CS5... the load ACV file appears to be a problem in 3.3.4.

If you un-install 3.2.5.... 3.3.4 will install just fine.
Smart filters are a part of the PS file.  CM should not have an issue with them no matter the version...
If you find the 3.3.4 build does not do the job you can roll back to 3.2.5.

Hello.

I am always very cautious when upgrading software because of potential bugs or system problems.

Even though the Pin to Grid appears to be a problem in CM 3.2.5, I will not upgrade to CM 3.3.4 because the loading of ACV files is a feature I heavily use.  How will I know when the next release with the fix for the loading of ACV files is available?

Thank you
David

Mike always posts new builds to the forum.  Also you can check for updates via the web link on the start menu...
