Question about masks

When you create a mask using a specific channel, is there any way that you can save that mask and then load that mask back in again at a later time? The save and load curves buttons don't seem to do this.

Masks are copied to the clipboard.  They can be saved as a image I suppose; and they stay on the clipboard until they are replaced or cleared.
The reason saving them is not real solid is that if you crop or re-size the image in any way the mask no longer matches the image and would not work.

You can paste the mask into a Word Pad document if you like..
