Between LAB and RGB, I prefer the color in LAB.

I do too..
Try this next time...

Correct the color in RGB. 
Apply the changes and exit CM...turn right around and go back into CM in LAB and adjust the color..
If you have the neutral right you can really push the color around...

I re-opened the RGB correction in LAB and made some small corrections to all 3 channels. I think that it improves the RGB correction that I originally made.
