I have to say you really pushed the saturation...and that was the exercise but you have to remember that there is really no such thing as blue and green hair. As you go forward try to look for things like this that make the image less believable.
Try using a LAB A channel curve as shown in shot 2 to kill off the green in the fur while leaving the grass intact. You can pin the lower left of the curve to keep the reds intact by right clicking on the channel and selecting Pin Grid>Lower Left.
