Set highlight shadow and neutral then tried to bring out a little more detail in shadows but lost a bit on the horses

This one is a reach for many people.

Let's start with your image.  Image6 is your image with hue clocks.  Notice that the shadow areas are a bit green.  It needs a different neutral.  Also we are going to open the image even more with the "lizard tale" move I showed you on Friday.

Image 8 is that move in place with no color correction.  Notice it opens the darkest shadows without doing too much to the rest of the image.  We hold the adjustment back with the lower point bringing the curve back to the mid line but not too steeply or else we will have "flat" areas that look really bad in the tonality of the image.

Image 9 is the new neutral placed on your image.  Notice that we did not get rid of all of the green but we moved it from -10 to -2 in the A channel of LAB.  The color overall is better.

Image 10 is your image with a new neutral and bit of saturation slider added.  Too far on the saturation and the reds go way too far but a little bump returns the expected color and vibrancy to the image.
