Hi

I nearly went crazy doing this.
This is my attempt in lab
I did the best I could to try and get rid of the colour casts but they are still there.
I used the skin to help guide me.
I am worried that the carrots look a little over coloured

Julie,
Overall you managed this one pretty good...The Open area on the top Right is a bit too Red but when you try to remove some of it the Apples in the center suffer.  Again this is a compromise and overall It would benefit from a bit more contrast.

The Skin tones are good and the Whites are in a good place.  It is really hard because this image challenges the Grey Items are neutral assumption.  It is the colors reflected in the Grey that drive people nuts.  The Colors are real your job is to figure out what is real and what is reflected.
