There seems to be some green mold growing in the shadows on the bridge.  Must call in the Department of Public Works to attend to that. :D

Indeed it appears worse than it was originally

Oh, that first one was really yukky!  Maybe this one is less contaminated-- (with dramatic shadows no less!)

Hi Greg,

Made corrections as suggested.

This seems to be one of those "mixed cast" images I was asking about, where it seems that a compromise is required between magenta and green. Attaining a neutral reading in both colours seems very difficult to me. Will be interested to hear what you think.

Cheers,

Thanks Greg -- my mistake, as you showed in our conference call, was to assume that the bridge should be neutral and to set the neutral pin there. Much more sensible to have selected the concrete instead, since bridges are painted, but concrete is usually not (thought I knew that!)

Best to you,

Art

Give yourself permission to make some assumptions like that...

"Seeing" is all about the real world and making sense out of things that the camera records wrong because, well it's just a camera.
