A friend once told me, that he ever put his original untouched picture on top of the retouched version and reduce the opacity to 30%.
Because I have a very overdone version, I do here nearly the same. Put the overdone over the original and reduce opasity to 50% for don't starting again on the beginning.
Not that sure, if it is still overdone  ;)
