Changed tassels and reflections, but also produced some unwanted changes elsewhere.
(Best I could do tonight.)

Cheers,

Hi Art,

much better than mine.
What did you do?

Second attempt.

Changed tassels using LAB a channel mask and desaturating. Apply. Than back into CM to adjust LAB a channel curve to change reflections.

Better colour than first attempt, but less detail in the tassels, which also have a slight colour cast. Tried to fix in RGB, but only created worse colour casts elsewhere.

Cheers,
Art

Actually on this monitor it appears pretty good.

The tree is in a good place and the shadows have a slight haze to them.  I see the detail loss.  Could be a combination of the masking, desaturation and the low quality image.

Hi Greg,

is it possible to combine the masks in cm?

You could use a mask on the layer you are working from and add a mask so in that way yes.  To have more than 1 mask in CM is not allowed.

Hi Greg,

don't sure, if I understand.
Layer with mask, go to cm and use there a second mask?

If you go into CM and create a mask.
Copy it and paste it to the layer you are working on as a layer mask...Then...

You can then go into CM a second time on the image portion of the layer; and create another mask in CM.

This would give you two masks at the same time since CM will "see" the mask on the layer; and your additional mask inside of CM will effect the adjustments.

Hi Greg,

oh, I understand right, but now realize what that means.
This is great!
Hope it don't confuses me, because I normally need to see my whole mask. This is now going to abstract in mind.
Maybe easy by experience and surly absolutly helpful.
Thank you!

Greetings, Tanja

If you have a specific goal in mind it can be an effective stacking of the masks...
