I knew the trick.
Red to green is easy, yellow was more difficult because so much brighter.
Lost details in the highlights now.

No, same in other colors. Maybe a reflection.
But great result with HSB. Rest can be fixed by stamping or whatever.
Thanks for the tip!

Better now?  ;D
I had no better idea, as paint out manually with a mask.
Some tips for make it easier?

Try to bring out the rest of read with retouching, but not that easy as I thoght. Still something in there.
Frequently seperation don't works, as it should. I'm confused.

Which channel are you using as a mask?
R channel fro RGB and A channel from Lab are good choices.

The image takes a beating in this process so some of the pixel info in the door is trouble...

Hi Greg,

I used the blending sliders from the "layer styles", but it don't works with the tail lights, because colors are to equal.
Same with a mask.

But another idea for don't having trouble with the pixels in the door:
In the "middle position" of HSB (as shown on the picture) all looks okay.
And now the color is more in the near of yellow to go further with Lab.
But trouble with the fence now.

Only spend as much time on this as you are gaining knowledge.
You have completed it but if this is helping you keep going...
