I made a simultaneous color and contrast correction on a very poor quality photo, using the technique discussed by Greg in the second week video.

Hi Dan,

Try placing contrast pins on the L channel on the diagonal at 40 and 60 and rotate to taste.
I think it will look very good.

Good idea.  Neutral should be between 40 and 60.  will try it . thanks.

Dan,

No, your neutral is fine -- don't change it.  On the L channel, just click on 40 and then control click on 60 and CM will create two contrast pins that you can rotate.

You need to Control Click the second point to make the contrast pin.

Dan,
Just move the endpoints of the LAB L channel as shown.  You really are in a pretty good spot.
