Reducing the magenta cast in the highlights was one goal.

This seems a more believable pumpkin colour.

Hi Art,
looks like a "hokaido". They have these strong color of your fist picture.
Mabe you effected some parts too much with the satruration-slider?
Pumpkin is getting white, where it has to be orange, I think.

Yes, I'll try again.
The white parts are magenta in the original. Problem.
Cheers,
Art
P.S. what's a hokaido?

But they look like they have a disease mold or some other thing going on...
This one is more about shape using color.

Hi Greg,
We're supposed to do this one entirely in HSB, is that right?

Hi Art,
sorry, I lost a "k".
It's called "hokkaido". A japanese Pumkin. Very delicious.

Looks much healthier now ;)
But - oh my god, I'm influenced ;D, could have more color.
Couldn't believe, that's me, who's writing that :D

Yes, perhaps more colour, but when I try it they begin to look like oranges. My response to my previous versions was like you said -- what the +++ was I thinking!
Cheers,
Art

I think, we are also allowed to use the brightness curve. Mabe that helps. I go for a try. Very new color space for me. Never use it before.
