Hi Greg,

try right now with the two lizard tales and noise come up very soon.
I blur the a and b with 28p gaußschen blur, but don't make a big difference.
More or better use another type of blur?

Try this...

A and B channels of LAB Gaussian Blur about 9 pixels.
Smart Blur the L channel as shown below...

It sort of undoes the sharpen... but not too much...

This is the 6. version. Think, it don't looks better. I prefer the second one.

you can have both versions or maybe blend the two??

So I can have both: The warmer colors and the higher contrast.
