Hi Guys!

Jerry, was the mask totally black in that area? All others than black don't protect totally.

Art, if you work on the mask, its not changing the picture. It's only changes your selection.
Only if you make a change in the picture, you see, what the mask is doing.

Hope I understand your problem...

Greetings, Tanja

Hi Tanja,

It may not have been totally black, but I think it was - I darkened the mask before I used it.  Since Greg's reply, I have been playing with masks, bot copyig them to Photoshop for use.

Thanks,
Jerry

Hi Jerry,

think it makes no differents if you copy the mask to ps or use it in cm.
Do you have a screenshot which shows your problem?
I have a lot of using problems by "don't know how" in cm, but masks work really fine for me.

Oh, and lots of fun with the birds! When do you start your tour?
Hope, we see some pictures!

Greetings, Tanja

Hi Greg,

I do not know what I was doing.  I just tried it again and it worked.  I was just being stupid - or maybe half asleep and frustrated that things were not looking the way I wanted.

Sorry for the confusion,
Jerry

No worries I was about to offer you a connection session to see if I could figure it out...
Glad it's working...
Greg
