Oh no -- you mean are they really two or different aspects of the Eternal One.

Maybe the answer is in a dream?

In your dream you will be able to adjust the yellows with 1000 different curves!
How pleasant!

Maybe you will invent a new dreamland colour space.

(Going to dreamland right now.)

Cheers,
Art

Art,
Take your Dock 5 jpg and apply the attached curve for A channel in LAB and a saturation boost overall.  you are quite close.

Take it apart if you need to and do it step by step.  Saturation first then color in LAB...

Hi Greg,

I've forgotten how to copy and open an acv file in CM, and I'm still having a problem even opening the library files in LAB, so I adjusted the image according to your numbers, and it looks much better, even bringing out the golden hues in the rocks.
That was very helpful. Now I'm going to think about exactly what you did and why!

Cheers,
Art

Greg -- I noticed a magenta cast in the water and sky in the previous version that yours didn't seem to have, so I corrected that in this one.  --Art

Hi Art,

think I understand your problems now.
I try open a curve for underexposure in lab, but nothing happens. Maybe only for rgb?

Save and load cm curves is on the right side under "compare".

Hi Tanja,

Thanks, I understand how to save and load the curve now.

When you select a mask from the mask carte on the left, can you apply it either in LAB or RGB. I can't seem to do that.

Cheers,
Art

Hi Art,

works in both colorspaces.
Mabe try something really extreme to make sure, that it don't work in your case.
