We often see this type of problem. She was walking under a green sun-screen (shade-cloth) at plus minus midday and thus ended up with the partial colour-cast from above. Image as out of camera, without any editing; only from RAW to jpg and much smaller

Very well done Art. I guess this is where Curvemeister comes to the party and of course the partner who knows how to dance with it -:)

Thanks Ganna. Curvemeister is a great dance partner, especially, in this case, for the neutrals ;-)
Actually, my first step, I think, was to pick up the hair color from the non-green affected (viewer's) right side of her head, and paint over all of it in color blend mode. Similarly for the dress to correct the green shadows.
Did this one cause you difficulty? I'm asking because you've shown yourself to be a master painter!

It was not easy for me. Yes, I also took the hair colour on her left side and then through masking. Eventually just removed the green and through masking blending together. The blue on the bucket behind is also harassing to me.

What color do you think the bucket should be?
Here it is neutral, but I'm not sure it looks that good. What do you think? Maybe a new background needs to be composited in?
That's not my forte I have to admit.

The colour of the bucket is correct, but disturbing, yes I think the background can be improved. (perhaps removing the colour on the bucket and more blurring?)
Interesting the reflection from the bright sunlight upwards from the cement floor.

Yes, the various reflections are interesting. I like the pink one especially.
May be difficult to process the buckets in the background, even with blurring, with this delicate young lady--
But I hope you give a try, I'll be very interested to see what you come up with.

Hi
I've been away at a conference but following this. I am really impressed at the way you have dealt with the green cast.

I battle to get the background sorted while still maintaining normal forground, especially the stray hair.
Art, how did you approach this; using masks?
