rocket's red flare

Something interesting happened yesterday (Thursday).  Rocket launch.  less smoke and different direction than I was planning.

In the second photo a small red dot in the sky, smoke on the horizon, and red artichoke in the foreground.

My problem was flare.  It was 1 pm and into the sun.  As I bump the color to get the true blue of the sky, the yellow flare hits the image.

Steve,
You might have to paint on the separate channels to get this out...

I'll give it a fast go...I don't mind the Yellow Flare on the Left...It adds to the image from my perspective...Kind of like how you would need to shield your eyes.
