The worm is loveable, but it does get in the way sometimes.  A number of people have asked for the ability to hide, or otherwise modify the color worm display.  Here's your chance to weigh in.

What about those of us who have no problems with the worms and are happy to leave things as they are?

Good point, Derek.  I added another item.

In fact, I think the old style of curve  marker is deceptive, because it implies that an averages sample value occupies a point on the curve.  It is often important that a sample occupies a range of values, and having the worms visible emphasizes that.

OTOH, some people are driven crazy by having the worms in view all the time, so I think an option may be in order - we'll see how the votes go.

I would like then to behave like Photoshop, where the worms only appear during a drag

OR

Have it with the point samples displayed in a more visible way.  Because, when the mouse is over a curve with marks,  I don't know where to click to move them. I must wander around until the cross tells me I am over one.  If two points  are close I don't know which one I am over.

Ah - I see.

One thought would be to draw the worm underneath the other information, so that the marks appear on top of the worm.

Good Idea.  It could be an arrow sign or else
