Hello, I'm new here. I read Dan Margulis's book and thought I'd give this plug-in a try, so I downloaded the demo version and installed it. This all went well, but I can't manage to find how to use it ; it's like it has never been installed. I think this might be caused by my 64-bit PShop (the demo version is said to be 32-bit) but if so, what way would there be for me to try this before purchasing it ?
Can someone tell me if I missed a thing ?
Thanks

If you have 64 bit Photoshop did it also install the 32 bit version?   if so the plugin should be found by that version and usable.  If

Please let us know if you do not have the 32 bit version installed.  I'll ask Mike if he can make a 64 bit version of the demo.

I chose not to install the 32-bits version during install (to spare hard disk space). If a 64-bits demo release was to available it would really be nice !
Thanks for your quick reply.

I'll check with Mike...

If you can install the 32 bit Photoshop that would probably be the fastest solution to the Demo problem.

I'll think of it, but I don't really like the idea of installing unuseful softs that will make Windows slower.
Thanks anyway.

It won't hurt the OS to install it.  It places it in a separate directory and it has little overall effect on the device.  Definitely will not slow down your PC.

It's your call but a 64 bit Demo might take a week or more to produce.

I understand this well, I was just astonished that the demo version wouldn't work on 64-bits platform (aren't most computers in 64 bits OS today ?).
Concerning Windows, installing and uninstalling always leaves unnecessary files that will finally slow the PC down, but anyways I can make a drive image before and reinstall it after if I really want to try it.  ;)

Actually you would be surprised how many people are still running Windows XP and even some Vista installs are still being used.

I hope you don't give up on us.

Don't worry, I'll have a look at it one day, sooner or later. I'll let you know. ;)
