I've not used WGCMYK much, so I don't understand it very well, but there seems to be some sort of weirdness with it and the 2.4.0 beta CM. I have an image in Lab mode, flattened into a single layer. When I look at it in CM in Lab, RGB or HSB mode it looks as expected. See first screenshot below. However, when I switch to WGCMYK mode, it looks like the second screenshot below.

Is this expected? I've only seen it do this with 2.4.0 beta, and I'm sure I'd have remembered if I'd seen it do this during the class coursework.

derekfountain,

i have not tried it. But I know that CM behave sometimes strange.
Not only on this occasion.
But when, you go out of CM and do it again, then mostly it goes on the right way.

I have tried now , and it did not occured.
But, I have seen in my computerlife, much strange things.
It could be CM. It could not be good installed.
It could be the combination of CM and other plugins or PS.
There are a lot of possibilities.
So, Mike is always interested if it is a bug.
But it must be repoduced to do investigation

Derek,

Yeow - this is a big one.  If the image is in Lab, wgCMYK's colors are wrong.  Frits did not see this in Elements because RGB mode works OK.

Look for a fix release v2.4.2.
