I have just submitted this via the ticketing system, but just to give everyone a heads-up - version 3.3.4 will save - but cannot load - curve files.

I'm running Photoshop CS5 on Windows 7. CM 3.3.4 is installed on CS5 64-bit, and CM 3.2.5 is installed on CS5 32-bit. 3.2.5 can open acv files saved by v3.3.4, but something is obviously making 3.3.4 a bit unhappy.

I'm assuming that the 32-bit version of 3.3.4 is ok - but I don't have it installed to check. If anybody else could, that would be really helpful.

Cheers,
Lee.

Thanks for reporting this, Lee.

This is an update error, where the curve is loaded, but the curve files and image are not updated.  One workaround is to toggle to another color mode, forcing an update.

It affects both 32 and 64 bit modes.

That's a great solution - thanks Mike  :D

I don't know why I feel like I need to be using the 64-bit version anyway? I guess that psychologically it 'feels' faster - though I'm sure it doesn't make the slightest difference!

Thanks for the workaround - I hope that you enjoyed MacWorld!

64 bit rules!  It's more of a max image size issue than a performance issue.  The big question is, why use 32 bit at all - the answer being all the plugins out there that don't yet work in 64 bit.

I'm still in the process of ramping up the Visual Studio 2010 development tools.  Hopefully, I'll be able to make Curvemeister significantly smaller, since it will leverage the dll's that are shipped with Windows, instead of the third party software that I use to support the ribbon and docking panels.

The big question is whether windows 2000 is going to be supported by the new environment - if not I back off to 2008.
