I have cs5 and win 7 32.  on a HP laptop 2370 with 4 gb of ram.

I can load CM and run it, but when I try to apply CM says cannot complete CM command because not enough memory,

CS 5 says it has 1644 mg of memory and allocates a maximum of 986 to photoshop,

open gl is enabled.

It is not the demo version, I have just purchased it.
Any suggestions?

I am upgrading to a win 7 64 bit machine soon.  I hope this works.

Oops.  somehow my computer now runs.  I ran the tutorials in cs4.  Then cs5 worked.  ??  Anyway onward and upward.

BYW, widegamut CMYK works in cs4 but not cs5.  Installed it in windowssystem32spooldriverscolor

A little more research.  Apparently, CS 4 looks in the windows folder.  CS 5 looks in the program data

I copied the icc file to

program filescommon filesadobeprofilesrecommended

Thanks for the great program.

Thanks.  Later I found the pins disappeared.  The version I downloaded was the one in the link. (zip 3.2.0)  I then suspected that version had some problem with pins.  They show up, but it cannot load them.  After they are hidden, they cannot be shown again (I clicked on the pin on the ribbon, that worked with the older version)

I then loaded an older version. (zip 3.0.19)  Great, pins again.  I had one incident of out of memory, but it is not consistent.

What am I missing with the older version?  Are they going to fix the pin problem with 3.1.0.0?  Any fixes for memory problem or is it my imagination?

CM is addictive.

I am installing CM on a 64 bit win machine.  Same problem- no pins with 3.2.2  (cs 5).

Do I install an older version of CM 64?  Install the older 32 bit CM and use cs 5 32 bit?  As a novice to CM, I find the pins very helpful.

Here's a workaround that should get you on the air with pins.

1) start up the pin palette by clicking on the large pin icon in the ribbon at the top of the Curvemeister window (the pin palette is the window that would normally contain the pins)
2) right click on the pin palette to get the popup menu, and select the "Manage Pins" command.  This is where Curvemeister wants your pins to be.
3) copy your pins to this folder.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I should also mention that the lack of pin support is unfortunate, and that I hope to address this very soon!

Sorry, but my win 7 32 machine is my notebook.  I do not use it for photoshop except testing and traveling.  I got to work.  I did not use it for CS5 for a while, now it is broken again.

1.  Before I go farther, I have a desktop and a notebook.  Can I use one CM for both?  I do not wish to violate the licensing.

2.  I tried .19 , .18, .15, .12 with CS5.  I uninstalled the prior version and put the CM file in ...adobe photoshop cs5pluginsfilters folder.  When I load CS 5 and an image, then filter then curvemeister  it opens with the right info on the top line.  I then do nothing and a minute or so either photoshop dies or curvemeister dies.

Prior to this I had cs4 installed and the cs5 upgrade.  I have updated cs5 and removed cs4.  CM does remember my serial number.

I am probably doing something stupid!  Any suggestions?

I am taking the CM class from Greg and would like to keep doing things on notebook.

Let's set up a time for me to do a remote support connection to your computer.  I'll send you an email offline to schedule this.
