Just installed latest latest download 3.0.12

Am running Win7 64bit, CS4

Installs for 32bit CS4 fine, and curves are applied,
however I cannot delete any points on any of the curves - which makes CM unusable  :(.

Am surprised no one else has found this.

BTW I installed it to the CS4-64 bit folder as well, however PS does not recognize it

I don't yet have my Windows 7 system set up, though believe that others have used Curvemeister under Win 7 successfully.  I'm in the process of re-writing the curve portion of Curvemeister - this is intended to address 64 bit installation issues, and it will probably bear on the issue you are experiencing.

As a workaround, there are two ways to delete curve points.  One is to select the point, then  press delete.  The other is to drag the point off the curve.  If you haven't tried both of these methods, please let us know if the other method works.

There is a special version of Curvemeister for 64 bit.  Be sure to disable Windows UAC during installation:

Thanks Mike,

Phew! the drag off the curve worked  :)- however the select delete key does nothing - :(

So I'll be able to work ok with the frag off method.

Have just downloaded the 64 bit version, will give that a spin as well

Installed the 64 bit version - didn't install properly (had UAC off and tried running as administrator)

Here are the Event viewer log entries - hope they help:

Source =  SideBySide
Activation context generation failed for "C:Program FilesCurvemeister.comCurvemeister3-64CurveCtl3.ocx". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.MFC,processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

and

after that under MsiInstaller

Product: Curvemeister 3 support files (do not remove) -- Error 1904. Module C:Program FilesCurvemeister.comCurvemeister3-64CurveCtl3.ocx failed to register.  HRESULT -2147010895.  Contact your support personnel.

Hope this is of use.

BTW the CM 8Bf file did not appear in the PS 65 bit Filters folder - hence nothing in PS 64 when started.

THe missing DLL is part of what is called the MFC redistributables.  Here is a link to Microsoft's download location.  If this works, please let me know and I'll modify the installer instructions to include this download link.

Greg and others have mentioned this before - my apologies for being so slow on the uptake.

I have Win7 x32 RTM (Russsian), CM 3.0.18, CS4 and I'm can't delete points from curves by "Del" key, and Edit/Delete menu is grayed out. Points can be selected and moved freely. Windows has all updates and redistributables.
