Thanks for reporting this.  I've tried making this happen on my system, and was not able to do so.  Can you email me an image that causes the crash?  This could be a version specific problem - the version of Curvemeister should be in the window banner, or in Curvemeister's about box.

the error happens to all of my pictures - if I try to edit only a part of the image as soon as I move the mousecursor in the non masked area in the cm window it crashes with the above error message.
This happens in PS 6.01 and PSE 6 with cm 3.0.8.0 with all 16bit images. 8 bit images are ok.
I re-installed cm but same as above:-(

Ah - got it now.  It's the 16 bit mode combined with the selection.  Thanks.  Look for a fix soon.

The 16 bit selection problem has been fixed, and I apologize for the delay.  I have a rather difficult bug that required some internal changes, unrelated to the selection problem, that is holding up the beta release.

I may have to reluctantly put that problem aside so that I can address this and and other problems. Look for a release in the next day or two.

My apologies for the delay.  I already had a software fix in hand for this particular problem at the time I responded.  Later I thought I had released it, but I had not.

I'm in the middle of another bug fix that needs to finish before I can release another beta, and will try to get this ASAP.
