Hi Mike!

Have you tried CM on CS3? Well, on my system, the pin-labels are all gray. Please see below:

Seen this before?

Mike, have you stopped reading bug-reports?????

I would appreciate to get some feedback on this. Is CM supposed to work on CS3, or is it something with my installation?

Hi Trond,

My apologies for the delay in my reading this.  I am using CS3 with version 2.4.4 and the pin labels are normal.  Which version of windows are you using?

Hi Trond,

Aha - I get the problem if I set the system windows appearance options to "XP style" instead of classic.  These are accessed via the Windows Display control panel.

The problem seems to affect vertical text only, so if you drag the pin palette to a horizontal configuration, or press the control key to float it, you can read the labels.

I hope to have this sorted out fairly shortly.

A new version of Curvemeister 2 will be available shortly that addresses this problem.

This problem has been addressed in beta version 2.4.7.

For windows XP or Vista and CS3, the pin palette's vertical tabs use the "classical" style.  I also moved the vertical tabs to the other side of the palette.  This is a more logical location, since now the actual pins are closer to the image.

This version also fixes a problem with the Curvemeister preview appearing under the tool palette in some situations.  The view is now on top of the tool palette.

I'd appreciate any testing with earlier versions of Photoshop and windows.  Please post here if you notice any cosmetic or functional problems with Curvemeister.  Thanks once again to Trond for providing the screen shots, which made it possible to find the bug quickly.
