I don't know what happen but CM now works.  Honestly, I did not change a setting.

Also, as a bonus, here are two images I took in January about 19 minutes apart.  The funny story is that I liked the first so much and the second (with the old house) did not view well with my old hdr program, I ignored number 2.  I got a new hdr program from Nik and I rediscovered some old images that did not work.

I am glad you managed to get Curvemeister to work correctly.  I think there is some sort of initialization issue, as proven by your screenshots, that causes the underlying layers not to be displayed.  Thank you for trying to isolate the bug.

That HDR image of the hose is incredible - the sky colors are remarkable.  This coule be on anyone's wall, particularly the first one with the plowed field in the foreground, which has very strong composition.

Thanks for the compliment Mike on those images.  The one with the house was done last just before sunrise and the HDR rescued it.  The one with the field is a single image no false colors just lab color enhancement.  I did add the light on in the building, no one is there at 6 am.  The building is my artichoke laboratory.

For me the surprise is finding the image from the dustbin.  I think that make a good contest....

We do tissue culture multiplication of artichokes.  There are others who do something the same in Italy, but ours is the only lab dedicated to artichokes.

It is an antiseptic system with tight quality control.  A single fungus can destroy 12 plants.  It is a clean room.  Not to Intel standards.  We use particle counters and UV and ...  if I told you everything ....

Here are a couple more taken that same day all within 20 minutes of each other.

Wow - very haunting!  The middle one could easily be a cover for a Stephen King book.

Thank you Mike.  Thanks especially to Curvemeister.  It is a wonderful tool, especially with Greg's training.  On the middle the blue shadows bothered me so after I posted this I desaturated the blue in the dark.  Someone should have told me about the blue shadows.

Greg, it is not like you to hold your tongue.  There are some challenges to make the photos more realistic.  As a group and as individuals they are dark.  There are some overblown reds.  I am not as good artistically as should be.  The images are close.  I am trying raising the exposure and using HSL at this stage to take out the isolated problems. mostly a few reds and blues.

I also find that for some reason, the images look more saturated when I post on my monitor than when I view the same image in photoshop.  I often do a slight lab (CM) desaturation before save to web.
