I was working on an image tonight where the Hue mask was almost perfect for what I needed. But I couldn't figure out how to exit CM with the mask showing up as a mask in the PS layer to do the extra work on it (mostly making sure the B/W conversion was correct all over). That mask, after the cleanup work using PS tools, would have been useful for other layers.

Is there anyway to get CM to load the mask as an alpha channel (or something equivalent)?

Right now you can copy the mask to the clipboard, then alt click on the layer mask in Photoshop and paste into it.

Cool! That will do the trick.

Thanks for the tipp. It works.
But not always (for me):
If i the mask invert (over function invert) works it not. Then not the inverse mask is copied, but the normal mask.
It functions with me only if I invert the mask with the mask curve.

Greetings Wolfgang

Excuse my bad english.

Thanks for the info.  I'll add this to the bug list.
