Now available in a download location near you:

3.2.4 has several changes:

The pin palette may now be made visible again after it has been hidden.

The installer will optionally clear settings - this was added to fix a problem with new versions of Curvemeister crashing because of old window settings retained in the registry.

The installer recognizes CS5 and Elements 8 (please note the beta currently only supports the full (Photoshop and Elements) version of Curvemeister.

A registry related error in beta 3.2.3 that affected Windows XP and Windows 2000 has been fixed.

Sorry, I was a bit quick to send there. If I 'OK' that weird box, the installation runs and does appear to work. :)

It's just dawned on me - a single hyphen is used to indicate "no company," as used for individual users like me. :)

I'm not sure what the dialog is trying to say, but I think fleshing it out a bit might help!

Thanks, Derek.  I left a debug statement in place.  As you said, clicking OK dismisses the window with no ill effects.  I will fix the problem and re-release as v3.2.4b

I have windows 7 pro- 32 bit.  CS5.  CM 3.2.4

Still have problems with CMYK.

Screenshot 1 is after opening an image in RGB mode.

Screenshot 2 is same image converted to CMYK.  Note not wg cmyk.

Screenshot 3 is same image converted back to RGB.  Note it is now wg cmyk.

No big deal, just a little aggravating.

Hi Steve,

This is actually by design, sorry.  The reason I did it this way was because wgCMYK was designed as a lossless way to do CMYK editing on an RGB image.  Since you can already edit a CMYK image in CMYK, I didn't see a benefit to providing wgCMYK.

Historically, before people were thinking about Lab much, Curvemeister started out as a way to edit RGB images in CMYK mode, so only the wgCMYK mode was available - if you can imagine that!

Mike
