In the next few minutes, I'll be adding a zip file for the 64 bit version of Curvemeister to the beta download area.

The password for this zip file is astroboy.

The 64 bit beta 3.0.12 is available for downloading.

Needless to say, I'm very excited about this version.  The main, and only, feature of 64 bit is that it can edit enormous files.  Please let me know how large a file you have been able to edit with this version.

A couple of warnings:

The 64 bit installer does not yet support automatic location of the Photoshop plugin folder.  If you have not installed Photoshop in the default location, browse to your plugin-insfilters folder at the appropriate point during the installation.

The paint is not yet dry on beta 3.0.13.  Please expect to find additional bugs, relatively quickly, with this new beta.

A short round of applause....

Good going Mike....I will not be able to help in the Beta since i do not have a 64 bit OS to test it on...

I'll be watching from the sidelines and hoping everything goes well...

got it !
Thank you.
I will processed some files form a trip to Peru - drab colors with little contrast on the Altiplano.
My files are never really big less than 300MB so it might not be much of a starin but I often open many of them.

Cheers,

Luc.

Greg,

This version involved changes all over the place. After some of the larger lumps are out, I'll turn loose the 32 bit version fairly soon, so everyone can have a go at it.

Uninstalled previous version.
Download again the beta
In stalled the beta
run CS4 64bit on Vista 64 with 8GB RAM
crash CS4 when Curvemeister try to open its window

Thanks.

Luc.

Hi Luc,

Hopefully this is something simple.

For starters, here is a small program - test.exe - that may help isolate the problem.  If CM3 64 bit is installed, it creates a single curve control to see if things are bolted in place correctly.

Ok what is it suppose to do. I ran it and nothing happens. CM still crashes CS4.
Now when I look in the Plugin folder of CS4 there is the 8bf file but also:
CurveCtl3.ocx

Cheers,

Luc.
